It’s only February but at The Peat Inn we already have various few new exciting developments coming to fruition. You are actually using the first of these right now: our new website. This has been under construction (and re-construction!) since the autumn and now that it is live, we hope you love it as much as we do. Please do explore the pages, share with your friends and let us know your thoughts. Hopefully we’ve ironed out all the gremlins, but you never know….
The other change goes hand in hand with the site. As part of the launch we will be posting a regular blog to keep you up to date with any news, changes and what’s coming up. The blogs will be written by various members of the team: so Geoff will always be excited to report from behind the kitchen door about new dishes and new ingredients coming back into season. But we will also get updates from Ian on news from the wine cellar, Matt of course will be raring to chat endlessly about whisky and there will be features about special celebratory events so you don’t miss out on reserving places.

We booked a table for two for luncheon on Saturday and are absolutely delighted with our whole experience at the Peat Inn.
My lady is a vegetarian and, although this frequently seems to cause difficulty in some establishments – even in 2019 – the staff at the Peat Inn were totally aware of the possibilities and rose magnificently to the occasion. Both of us enjoyed every last morsel of each course as well as the ‘little extras’ that appeared beforehand (those golden olives, mmm!) and the petit fours accompanying the coffee.
A great effort from a very professional and friendly team. Well done one and all!
